Disappointing
"I have been eagerly waiting for 3 years to see Amy Grant!! The venue was good. Food & drink setup was inefficient - took approx 45 min/drink. The sound system was strange - music only from the stage. My son joked, “my right ear is going deaf & my left is silent!” No speakers in the back of the arena, so it felt like something was not working properly. People were uninterested, talking, or they just left. There were a lot of songs, very few which the crowd knew. If you didn’t memorize the new cd (he played all but 2 off the new cd), then the crowd was left out. The energy of the concert was low. Luckily I knew them, but Amy Grant was hard to understand - mumbled through many of the songs. Lastly, we spent a lot of money for tickets, traveled 6 hours, hotel stay, and took off school and work to attend this concert. Fell into the 3 worst concerts I have ever attended (I have been to a lot of concerts and love live music!). So disappointed."
